Unfortunately murder still exists in the world today. Although we all wish it would cease to exist, we are constantly reminded of how ones actions are found highly unjust in the general public and also within the Catholic Church. As Christians were are taught in the bible to love one another as we love ourselves. We should never show hatred or commit sins. Within the bible passage below it shows what humans should never do under any circumstance. “Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill” Although it is only four words, they are very powerful words. Thus the bible is teaching us never to commit the sin of killing another human being. The Catholic Church believes that every person has the rite to be given a even chance in society where they are shown respect, love and justice. Murdering someone defeats the purpose of the quote above.
